Hullo, friend! If you are here, then it’s clear that something has piqued your interest.
It’s either the words, the style, the images, or simply, the blog appearance.

Whatever be the reason, a very warm welcome. πŸ™‚ My name is Asha.

  1. It took me a lifetime to reach the comment space.

A lovely name to go with a lovely self-portrait (lovely smile, lovely long hair).

How can you be simple with complicated desires? Or, you wish to be more complicated than you are?

Scared of heights. What about skydiving? I’d rather do that than jump off a cliff and risk hitting something too soon. At least with skydiving you have plenty of time to activate a parachute. πŸ™‚

Points for disliking pink and favoring black. Althoooough….are you NOT wearing pink in your Gravatar profile photo?! I think you are.

Points for not favoring makeup. Let’s hope, miss hope, that you are one of the lucky ones who age gracefully and never need any.

Why are you sitting on several broken pairs of glasses?

[And why are so many getting HP tattoos lately?]

I like handwritten letters, too. I’ve had a few pen pals in my life thus far, but can’t remember one that satisfied me enough to keep going.

Without books, there would still be storytellers. And, that might bring people together instead of people just reading to themselves in quiet corners. Both have their place.

I like pugs, border collies and Samoyeds best.

I kept leaving them behind, lol. Then I had to move to prescription ones so can’t do that anymore πŸ™‚ I have a fur baby dog too – know what you mean. Best. ever.

Have taken a liking to swimming, of late. I enjoy cycling for long hours. Beach before sunrise is my life-giver, but I have been waking up late and not making it to the beach my then, these days. So, I go late in the night these days to spend some alone-time. Table tennis is my favorite game. I play once in a while. I love watching football, but, find no time to watch tv these days. Meeting people,I love, known and unknown: friends, family, strangers. The strangers bring a mystery with them, so they make me curious. An odd smile from a stranger is always a glee moment. A smile that I can see anywhere binds my attention. I love conversing with kids. There is something refreshing and insightful there. I have a soft corner for old women, their stories, or anything they do, or say, I find that interesting. Ice creams!! White Sauced Pasta!!! McDonald’s French Fries!! I stay away from home, so I obviously miss ghar ki roti and sabzi! I am my own agony, very little from the outside perturbs me these days. Nature is where I find my solitude and solace! πŸ™‚
