Irony

He walked tip-toed
To not wake her
from her sleep

Hardly did he know
She was not sleeping
but drifting away

In the arms of who
awaited her
on the other side

    1. Beautiful is something we see that touches us, something we feel that remains with us. I’m happy this piece could touch you that way. Thank you for stopping by, Wendell.

    1. Thank you, J. It is one of my favorite poems. In the spur of a moment, a thought struck and took me to a place where I saw something. And surprisingly, I loved how perfect it came out in words, in just one go.
